30 DoM: Day 8
Dec. 8th, 2010 01:25 pm8. A movie that you’ve seen countless times
This is a two answer one. One is literal, and the other addresses the spirit of the question.
A) A Christmas Story. Seriously, I'm one of those people who has no problem on Christmas day turning on TBS and just letting this play all damn day, even if I'm not really watching it. So yes, I've literally seen this countless times.
B) And the other is The Nightmare Before Christmas. This is one of my all time favorite movies, and can just pop this in any time. I also love that it's a holiday movie that can be played twice in one year (Holiday horrors can go fuck themselves) and still be relevant.
Also the songs and score are entirely memorible. You can listen to the music alone and still get the entire movie. I've watched tNBC so many times, and listened to the soundtrack so often that I know the lyrics to almost every song (I do have some trouble with "Jack's Obsession") and can recite them as long I can remember the opening lines. Yeah.
